Bacis War and how to play.
Casino War is the perhaps easiest card game in the casino. The game can be
useful, but boring, as an alternative when VideoPoker and BlackJack are not avaliable.

Rules
Both dealer and player are dealt one card. The highest card wins. If you
have the lowest card your bet are lost. If you get the same card (tie) things
get a bit more exciting. Now you get the chance the either surrender and lose
half your bet or "go to war". If you choose to go to war your bet
are doubled. If you go to war means a lower house edge than surrendering.
When you go to war - both you and the dealer are dealt a second card. If
you win you only gain 1x initial bet. If you loose, you loose your doubled
bet. Another tie give the player a win. Some casinos are offering a bonus
if you get a second tie. You get this bonus a both MicroGaming and BossMedia

War Strategy
The house edge is ~1%
lower, if the player goes to war on ties. Optimal strategy is simply to always
go to war on ties.

House Edge
Its very importent for you to choose the right
casino if you want to play War. If you play at a Playtech, Cryptologic or
Rival casino - you are up against a house edge on 2.88%. Playing at BossMedia
and MicroGaming will change the house edge to 2.33% - a bit lower because
of the bonus given for two sequential ties.
So far you wont be able to find War at
any Wagerworks, Net.Entertainment or Grand Virtual Casino.
