Object of Video Poker
The object of online video poker is to achieve a winning poker hand from 5 cards. This usually includes Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Full House, Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind, Two pairs - or a pair of Jacks or better. In some variations of online video poker such as Deuces Wild there are no payback for pairs of any kind. You should check the paytable of the video poker variant you wish to play for details.
How to play Video Poker
At the start of a hand of video poker, you press Deal and you will be dealt 5 cards. Normally, you will press a hold button under the cards you wish to keep. When you press Deal the cards you did not hold are discarded and replaced by new ones. The video poker machine will then calculate the best hand from your five cards and pay you according to the paytable of the game.
